ADHD (Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder) affects how people focus, organize, and manage impulses. Whether it shows up as restlessness, forgetfulness, or frustration, our psychiatrists help uncover what’s really going on and build a treatment plan that empowers change.
Our comprehensive ADHD care includes:
How does ADHD typically show up in adults?
"In adults, ADHD often looks like chronic procrastination, difficulty prioritizing, and trouble following through. Many describe feeling overwhelmed by everyday responsibilities despite being capable. Restlessness may feel internal rather than physical."
How do you differentiate ADHD from anxiety or burnout?
"Untreated ADHD can lead to chronic stress that resembles anxiety or burnout. At the same time, anxiety and mood disorders can mimic ADHD symptoms. A careful evaluation helps determine what is primary so we treat the right issue."
Will I automatically be prescribed medication?
"No. Medication is one evidence-based option, not a requirement. We discuss risks, benefits, alternatives, and your personal preferences before making any decision. Treatment is always collaborative."
What would you say to someone unsure about scheduling?
"If your symptoms are affecting your work, relationships, or confidence, an evaluation can provide clarity. Even if the diagnosis is not ADHD, understanding what is happening is often the first step toward meaningful change."

Yes. Research shows that virtual psychiatry can be just as effective as in-person care for ADHD. Telehealth makes it easier to stay consistent with appointments and follow through on your care plan, both key factors for long-term success.
Treatment may include medication, behavioral strategies, or a combination of both. Every plan is individualized to your needs and adjusted through ongoing follow-up visits. When applicable, deprescribing or rethinking medication strategies can also be helpful.
Diagnosis begins with a detailed assessment and evaluation that reviews your symptoms, history, and current challenges. Our providers use evidence-based screening tools and clinical interviews to ensure accuracy and personalized care.
In children, ADHD often looks like distractibility, restlessness, or acting without thinking. In adults, it can appear as chronic disorganization, forgetfulness, or difficulty managing time. Though it can be tempting to self-diagnose, it’s often unhelpful. Our psychiatrists are trained to recognize ADHD at every age through thorough, evidence-based assessments.
We’ll get you scheduled with the first available provider that fits your needs.
