Claire Mastel, PA

Claire Mastel, PA-C was born in Bismarck, North Dakota and grew up outside of Minneapolis, Minnesota. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Biology with a minor in Psychology from the University of North Dakota and received her Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Rocky Mountain College. She is board certified by the NCCPA to practice medicine in the state of Montana. She is also working to obtain her Certificate of Additional Qualifications as a Physician Assistant in psychiatric medicine. Claire loves psychiatry because she is able to connect with her patients on a deeper level and impact their lives in ways other areas of medicine cannot. She believes practicing psychiatry is an art that can be individualized to each patient and their needs, and she prioritizes the relationship between patient and provider above all else. She enjoys working with child, adolescents and young women and learning about novel agents being developed in psychopharmacology. Outside of work Claire enjoys reading, golfing, traveling and exploring Montana with her husband and their border collie, Rocky.
