Amelia Durling, MD

Dr. Amelia Durling joined Frontier Psychiatry in August, 2023. She completed her General Psychiatry Residency in Omaha, NE at Creighton University School of Medicine. She spent two years of her medical school course in Guadalajara, Mexico and graduated with her medical degree from Avalon University School of Medicine. Dr. Durling has a special interest in integrating lifestyle medicine principles into her practice and believes that optimizing diet and lifestyle is a major factor in the patient's overall well-being. She has worked with patients using the DBT model and uses these skills in her every day practice. She worked with the Assertive Community Treatment team in Omaha, NE in the latter part of residency and gained valuable experience working with patients with serious and persistent mental illness.
