Amit is a board-certified adult psychiatrist. His approach to practicing psychiatry prioritizes collaboration: We are equal partners in the work we engage in together, no matter how many sessions we meet for. Amit seeks to understand deeply the specific contexts that patients are in, prioritize their goals, and utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities and frameworks that work best for his patients. Amit received his undergraduate, medical, public health, and global mental health training at Rice University, Columbia University, UCLA, University of Maryland Medical Center, Johns Hopkins University, and UCSF.

In his free time, Amit enjoys reading, road biking, baking, being outside, playing with his dog, and spending time with his family.
